A Finn wants to go to sauna on a holiday, and a Finnish sauna is an experience for many foreigners. In the Forssa region, there are smoke saunas, underground saunas, a boat sauna, a landscape sauna and traditional lakeside saunas, among others. The sauna experience can also be completed by bathing in a hot tube or by taking a dip in the freesing cold water throught an ice hole in winter.
Located in the village of Liesjärvi in Tammela, Honkasauna, the lakeside sauna of Honkapirtti, can also be rented separately for sauna evenings and other gatherings. Situated right by the water, Honkasauna offers direct access to Lake Herttuajärvi – just a few steps from the sauna to a refreshing swim.
The sauna includes a separate meeting room for up to 20 people, equipped with a kitchenette and two sofa beds that can also be used for overnight stays.
