Nature in Forssa region is diverse and inspires a variety if outdoor activities. You can choose from many different forms of outdoor exercise including kayaking, hiking and even horse riding. Alternatively, in the town, you can find indoor activities such as bowling and swimming.
The beautiful landscape of Saari Folk Park has been the setting for midsummer festivities from 1934 onward, except during wartime. The area is known as the gem of the Lounais-Häme region. The park can be best viewed from the Kaukolanharju scenic tower. The tower was built already in 1926.From the height of 21 meters it is easy to see over the ridge and the tree tops.
