The Forssa region has plenty of attractions and interesting places to visit. In the town centre, you can admire historical red-brick buildings and enjoy lush urban parks. The highlight of your trip could be taking an unforgettable steam train ride on the museum railway, seeing domestic animals on the heritage farm.
Welcome to the Forssa region!
Located in the center of Forssa, in an old executive villa Villaforss is a continuous and changing art and gallery exhibition, which features a collection of diverse art and art forms. There are both classic, modern and naive works, and there are well-known artists as well as rising stars, e.g. Anna Retulainen, Mark Kostabi, Andy Warhol, Jan Dobkovski, Kuutti Lavonen, Gunter Grass, Oskar Kleineh, Petri Petrie, Ari Kovero, Pekka Suhonen, Johanna Ekola, Sari Moilala and many others.
The owner of the house, the artist Maarika Maury's newer and older art productions are also on display. In the attic gallery, it is possible to follow the artist's work by prior arrangement.
Open doors every last Sunday of the month from 12:00 to 16:00, at other times by appointment.
