The museum is one of the most popular attractions in Forssa, being located at the charming Spinning Mill area.
Collections are owned by the Nature Conservation Society of South-West Häme, founded in 1951 by professor Torild Brander. The museums displays about 6000 items and specimens, focus being on local nature and conservation biology.
Also changing exhibitions and a museum store with free entrance.

Entrance fee 5€/adult, 2€/seniors, students, conscripts and civil servants and the unemployed. Admission is free for children under 18.
Guided tours are free for local schools and day-care groups, others 50€ / group.
